No longer is this medium something that can be ignored. To survive in times of both high and low economic stability, businesses will need to stand out from the crowd to be noticed amongst the ever expanding realm of information. Users can rapidly jump from site to site, become captured by something as simple as a tiny graphic or catchy link and be drawn to sites they initially had no plan to visit.
In order to harness these opportunities for exposure your business needs to display its presence, products and services with quirky graphics and taglines, high ranking backlinks (more on this later) in places where they can be found.
In the coming weeks, we will be presenting a step-by-step guide to taking your business website to this next level. Whether you have an existing site or need to get online from scratch, we'll show you how to create or refine your marketing plan, prioritise the development process, identify resources to assist you in putting the plan into practice and provide a heap of tips and tricks to utilise striking graphics, thoughtful content and professional website design as well as getting up to speed on social media jargon, practices and standards.

Re: Why your business needs to embrace Social Media Sites
Social media is a must for any small business these days.I absolutely love twitter as you can have conversations with other users in real-time, wherever in the world they happen to be. Twitter has also led to several new clients for my business, I can't speak highly enough about it.If you're a small business you can't afford to be without a social media presence.
